Colourful Telekung - Yes or No?

Even though traditionally, telekung or prayer robes have always been in all white, there are some who argued that in arab country the robes are in a myriad of colours and not limited to white.

So it is comes as no surprise to us that in our country, the best selling telekung have always been white base with white embroidery. This is slowly replaced by cream colour with cream embroidery. But bit by bit white/cream base with colour embroidery crept into the market and people readily accept it as perhaps they are bored with always wearing and looking at white and cream in the surau.

We wonder if the muslimah in malaysia are ready to accept colour telekung like purple, green, grey and not to mentioned the alarming black telekung.

Hence for 2010 Ramadhan, we did stock some colour telekung but stop short of the black ones cos we still feel that muslimah here are still reluctant to push the limit.
