We had interns, well actually son of my boss with his classmates here in Turkuaz to gain work experience (part of school's requirement).
They were here for 8 days and during this period we taught them about running the business as well as asking them to serve customers in Jalan TAR outlet.
Initially it was quite daunting for them to approach the customers but when one of them manage to close the sale, this trigger a mini competition among 3 of them to see who can sell the most.
Kumpulan Karangkraf was also gracious to arrange a site visit of their printing facilities as well to witness a fashion photo shoot.
All in all it was a good experience for us and the boys even manage to start a blog at http://shingtzewoo.blogspot.com/
We just hope that they will keep blogging.
At the end of their internship, we were required to write a report as well as to rate their performance. It was hilarious how they now try to "bribe" the supervisor with drinks and small chores. Anyhow their enthusiasm was really refreshing and it was good that the school introduce such program in their education syllabus. Suffice to say, all of them received good reports from the management!
